Buddy Holly Plaza
Just off of Ave. Q at the entrance to the Civic Center.
Buddy Holly holds a prominent place in the music heritage of Lubbock, Texas. As part of our tribute to his memory, Civic Lubbock Inc created the Buddy Holly Plaza just off of Ave. Q at the entrance to the Civic Center. In addition to the magnificent statue to this Lubbock legend, Civic Lubbock Inc has two places of honor to distinguish other Lubbock Artists:
